The ham and cheese croissant was absolutely AMAZING. Even cold, it was scrumptious! (If you hear it up, I'm sure it's even better.) The chia tea was also a delight.

Excellent small bakery and coffee shop nestled right downtown the historic village of arroyo grande. Delicious coffee drinks and a huge assortment of phenomenal baked goods. Clean soothing minimalist vibes inside with a small selection of cool things to buy like mugs and cards and coffee accessories. Plenty of outdoor seating and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this spot the pastries are beyond.

The croissants are cooked to perfection. So much filling inside and perfectly crisp edges. Somehow, their baked goods minister to hearts. I lost my son a few months ago and have been deeply grieving. But when I go to Mule, somehow it lifts my spirits for a few luxurious moments. This is a very, very special bakery! Thank you!

My husband and I were looking for last-minute cupcakes for a BBQ, and we came upon this bakery. All I can say is that their cupcakes were delicious. They were a little pricey but worth it. Everyone loved it at our BBQ. The frosting was sweet but light. It wasn't too thick or heavy, like most buttercream frosting. The cake base was moist and lightly sweetened. We will be coming by here when we visit again.

I’m a sucker for pastries. Mule consistently has legitimately the best scones I’ve ever had. My wife and my favorites are the marionberry, strawberry basil, and peach… as for drinks, their matcha isn’t the best, coffee drinks are decent, but the scones alone make this place 5 stars.

Great coffee and pastries! Amazing cupcake selection. Good vibe and friendly atmosphere. They do sell out of baked goods if you come later in afternoon. Also super cool selection of notepads, pens, pencils, scissors, travel mugs, etc

I was just here for the desserts and good vibes. Mule Bakery is a top popular bakery and all the desserts sell very fast. I strongly suggest you come here in the morning to ensure your favorite items are always available so you won’t feel upset if there are only a few choices. So far we have tried the cupcakes, cheesecakes, some cookies, and the brownies. They were all too good to pick the best one. My husband likes the brownies and the peanut butter cookies. However, I enjoyed the richness of the cheesecake with fruity sauce on top a lot. The buffalo chocolate chip cookie was very special. It has cranberry, oatmeal, and nuts in it so it was a little bit chewy but it was very satisfying. I highly recommend it.

One of my son’s favorite Saturday traditions is stopping by Mule for a cupcake — and honestly, who am I to argue? They have incredible coffee, delicious cupcakes, and consistently great customer service. It’s such a fun little treat and something we always look forward to on the weekends in Arroyo Grande. Highly recommend!
